Everyone goes through hardships in their life. Everyone manages their feelings differently. While sitting in my intro to psychology class I started to understand how I was feeling and why I was feeling that way. A light switch went off and I changed my major to psychology. With each and every one of my classes my life transformed. The deep desire to help others transform their lives was ignited.
The first session will consist of an array of questions. These questions are meant for me to get an idea of what brings you into therapy and what you are looking to get out of our time together.
My approach is strength based. I believe everyone has a multitude of strengths. Uncovering those strengths and building off of them will change your life. You are the expert on your life, I am here to guide you. I believe therapy is more than just talking but putting our words into action.
