What is most important to you? What do you value most in your life? I believe identifying these things are essential to being true to ourselves and living a fulfilled life. Getting to this place is a process but one you do not need be alone in. If you feel like you have tried everything and nothing has worked I am here to give you something else to try.

Rachael Medina is a licensed Marriage and Family therapist. She is passionate about working with individuals, couples and families. Rachael utilizes a warm, empathetic, strengths-based and solution-focused approach to address client concerns and help them create the change they’ve been longing to achieve but thought maybe wasn’t possible. 

She can assist clients in processing, coping with and healing from painful life experiences, depression, anxiety, body image and eating concerns, strained family relationships, and partner relationships experiencing communication concerns, high levels of conflict, or those feeling that they’ve lost their connection to one another. Rachael’s training has allowed her to view mental health concerns and life’s struggles in a way that takes into consideration not only the client as an individual, but the relationships within their life and both the positive and negative impact these relationships may have. 

Rachael provides support, strategies, a calming presence and an empathetic ear to help facilitate meaningful change in her clients’ lives. She believes we are all doing the best that we can every day, and that we can learn lessons and find glimmers of hope in our everyday life. Sessions are led by the client and Rachael helps hold clients accountable, develop self-awareness and insights about their experience that allow for lasting change, and help them to reframe and challenge maladaptive thoughts, change negative behaviors, and improve their mental health so that they can live the life that they deserve.

Naina (pronounced Nay-nuh) Rana (pronounced Rah-nuh) is a licensed clinical social worker and a Nepalese-American, holding a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University. With a focus on assisting adolescents, adults, and older adults, Naina helps navigate challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, eating disorders, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach prioritizes client-centered, trauma-informed, and strength-based methods, emphasizing the importance of building collaborative alliances and fostering safe spaces for her clients.

Naina has experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem & depression. She believes that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you.
